Cat Euthanasia

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” – Anatole France

When should I consider pet euthanasia?

Our caring team is here to help you during this difficult process in a kind and respectful manner. If you feel you may need some guidance deciding when, how and why, to either euthanize or continue medical management for your pet, we are here for you. We offer compassionate end of life care, including quality of life assessments and euthanasia services

What is the process for cat euthanasia?

During euthanasia, the patient is typically given a sedative to make them more comfortable. Once you and your pet are ready, the euthanasia drug is then delivered by intravenous injection. This is painless, quick, and dignified.

Can you stay with your cat during euthanasia?

You are absolutely welcome to stay with your pet during euthanasia.
