Cat Flea and Tick Control

Fleas and ticks, they will drive you and your feline family members crazy. With our ever-changing temperatures here in Nova Scotia, these annoying critters are here to stay. Prevention is key and we can suggest the best option for your family.

How do I know if my cat has fleas?

Though you may not see adult fleas, you may see their feces (flea dirt) present in your cat’s fur. If your cat is scratching frequently, this is another key sign that some fleas have made themselves at home on your pet.

Do fleas harm cats?

If your cat is constantly licking and scratching at the skin, hair loss and irritation may occur. Also, your pet is at risk for a tapeworm infection if fleas are ingested.

Why is treating and preventing fleas so important?

Prevention is key to keeping these pesky critters at bay. Not only will preventing fleas lower your cat’s risk of skin irritations and contracting tapeworm, but they will be healthier and happier all around, and you will be too!

No more licking the plate for Fido and Fluffy!
