Blood Tests for Dogs

We have lab equipment in-hospital to run everything from routine health screens to emergency critical care blood tests. Having these machines in-house means that we can offer immediate testing in emergency situations and we can also customize blood tests for wellness testing as needed.

Why is it important to perform blood tests on dogs?

Blood tests can help us to discover underlying medical issues. This is extremely important to assist your veterinarian in finding the best possible treatment for your pet. Routine blood work will give us a valuable picture of your pet’s health over time, and help us to catch any changes that may be of concern, especially with senior pets.

How do I interpret my dog’s blood test results?

Our veterinarians will review your pet’s bloodwork results and answer any questions you may have.
